It’s so hard for me to put into words the story of Gray and Dylan. I was asked to blurb, but when I sat down to put into a sentence what I feel – nothing seemed to flow. The words didn’t seem to make sense and they absolutely didn’t capture what I was trying to express. In a nutshell – YOU NEED TO READ THIS SERIES. That alone should be enough for you to one-click and devour two, almost three books, of this amazing, different, sensual love story of two very star-crossed lovers walking the same, yet very different paths in life. To say that Gray and Dylan complete each other is an understatement. They’re romance is tested, repeatedly. Sacrifices are made. Hearts are broken and mended, only to have wounds reopened. Regardless, the stories are worth every minute you’ll spend reading.

I’ve been a fan of Katie’s for a few years now and I’m thankful to have formed a friendship with her. She’s amazing, smart, and talented and her dystopians frankly scare the ever loving crap out of me, but that doesn’t mean I won’t read with a light on. To be able to traverse from dystopia to romance is huge and Katie’s done so flawlessly. My only question is why aren’t you reading her novels?

Finally, Forever is a simply wonderful and very happy ending to a beautiful series.

The quirky yet so very wonderful love story of Dylan and Gray completely captured my heart and it never let go. This last book in the trilogy finds our couple almost a year and half later since they parted for a second time. They meet totally by chance and this time around, both wonder if fate is finally putting them together for good or is still messing with their lives.

The banter between Dylan and Gray always makes me smile. The thoughts in Gray' s head made me laugh out loud. These are two very different people who fit together perfectly. Her craziness is the perfect balance for his introverted style. And the greatest thing this time around is that they have figured that at as well.

I feel so lucky to have discovered both this author and this wonderful series. It had me captivated from the very beginning and I didn't want it to end. This is a well written trilogy that I highly recommend. The secondary characters are just as real and well crafted as our couple. A simply perfect storyline that you won't be able to put down.

A huge 5 stars and absolutely no hesitation in reading more from this author. I look forward to her future work and I'm even a bit hopeful we might hear more from this great cast of characters )
I love Gray and Dylan! I mean I love Gray and Dylan. They are two of my favorite characters ever! Katie has given readers a love story that will keep them wondering - are Gray and Dylan going to make it? You think that they might, their friends think that they will, even strangers can see it, but will they ever be able to figure it out for themselves?

Finally, Forever is filled with so much humor and heart. Once you start it you won't want to stop and you will highlight every page with a favorite part that you will always want to remember.

Some of my favorite parts are

*The first sentence "I'm leaning against my car in a parking lot in Omaha, Nebraska, and I'm watching a girl."
*An unspoken conversation over a bacon scrambler
*The "Gray Proximity Scale"

And

*This line "Lenny, I'm in trouble."

Is this too cryptic for you? Need more? I guess you'll just have to read the book.

I've read the other books in the First Comes Love series, but Finally, Forever is the part of Dylan and Gray's story that has been a long time coming. It really can be read as a stand-alone, but I hope that readers who read this first will fall in love with Gray and Dylan as much as I have and decide to read their story from the beginning.

I love this book beyond words. I'm constantly recommending it to friends because they need to discover just how wonderful this love story is.
Do you know how long I waited for this book? Do you have any idea how excited I was to find out it was coming AND that I was going to get an early peek at the final book in a series that has meant so, so much to me? It was nothing short of sheer perfection and I can't say enough good things about it. Dylan and Gray's story couldn't have had a more fitting final chapter and I'm even more hopelessly in love with them than I was after the first two books. It's been weeks since I finished this book and I still can't let these two characters go.

"I kick my car into fifth gear and we're flying down the highway and a Moody Blues song is playing on the radio. I listen to the lyrics and agree that love is only in our wildest dreams. Even when it's sitting right next to you, it always feels out of reach."

Finally, Forever begins over a year after Dylan and Gray broke up at the end of Second Chance. Fate has had a funny way of throwing these two together when they both needed it most in the past and the beginning of this book is no exception. Dylan is the last person Gray expected to find in Omaha, Nebraska, but there she is. Broken down car and all. They're both headed for Arizona – he's heading home and she's trying to stop her sister from making a huge mistake – and, thanks to a little intervention from a girl who Dylan assumes is Gray's girlfriend, they'll be making the trip together. Dylan's friend Nick leads Gray to believe they're more than friends and my favorite couple that's no longer a couple and each supposedly involved with other people, set off on a road trip together. Where better to work out the issues they have and see if they're both capable of making a true go something real this time?

"I remember how his lips taste. I remember his smile, how it's the most beautiful image I've ever seen. How the first time I saw him smile, on Mill Avenue in Phoenix, my head started to spin. I remember raising my camera and instinctively taking a picture, even though he was barely more than a stranger back then. All I knew was I wanted to capture that image of him. I made it my personal mission to make him smile."

Dylan and Gray's road trip adventure turns out to be just that. Despite the earlier implications that they're both involved with other people, there's no denying the attraction, chemistry and depth of feelings they still share. As they cross the states between Nebraska and Arizona, they have more than enough time to begin to put the pieces of their broken relationship back together. They make some interesting acquaintances along the way, have their share of adventure and slowly find their way back to what they once were. But will it be for good this time?

"For the first time in my life, I realize that home isn't where you want to be. It's where you need to be."

Everything about this book gave me all the warm fuzzies and a whole boatload of emotions and feels. There's not one single other thing I could want out of this book, except for it to be longer because I'm just not ready to give up Gray and Dylan yet. These characters went through a lot in finding themselves and their own way in the world and they did it in a way that hooked me right from the very start. The writing in this book was so absolutely gorgeous that I highlighted roughly 30% of it. Katie has a way with words and they're like an arrow straight to my heart, in the best way possible.

"I know I still have a lot to figure out. My future isn't set, but I consider that a good thing. It keeps it open to possibilities. Right now all I know is this I have all that I need with me, all that I want, in my hands. No matter where my life goes, it won't be boring. It won't be perfect. But I found love and I'm holding onto it. Finally, forever."

I could spend hours talking about these characters and their story, and just how deeply they affected me, but I'd rather you experience it for yourself, so I'll finish with this Finally, Forever was nothing short of perfect. I simply can't imagine a better ending to Gray and Dylan's beautiful, complicated journey. (Of course, because I'm totally selfish and love these two so much, I am glad to see there's just enough of an opening at the end that there *could* be another book, but if there's not, I'll remain completely content, making up my own stories as to where Dylan and Gray are now.)
