This was a cute tale and had a good moral. Very short. Read in about 15 minutes. This was an interesting story to read to older kids.
This story shows how people can achieve a goal if they work together. Also how people will lose if they cheat.

Good moral teaching short story. Good old fashioned take a moral or value and to put it into a short palatable story to share.
I read it not knowing what it was and I was curious. I liked it. It is something good to read to your (older) kids with a great moral..except the ending gets a little bit violent (nothing really bad but still beware). Its an older Japanese tale.
